What would you do if you were not afraid? Really, what would you do? I thought about it thoroughly and a lot.
Some families live thanks to Filotea, to the salary from Filotea. Not a day goes by that I do not think about that. But what I would do free from fear and apprehension?
I would do a company irreverent, a “pirate” company, who do not care about anyone. With the finest ingredients at all: best eggs, best semolina, best flour. Handmade. 100% Italian Semolina. Regardless of expense. The best packaging. The double pack for Le Matassine, double twisted tray for Traditional Line. No compromise.
No surrender just to give a smile when someone purchases and eat our pasta. Maybe with your family, in a serene atmosphere, in a place far away that one evening seems to be a terrace overlooking Florence, Venice, Rome. Scent of the flour, the taste of the pastry rough because handmade. And, in a such way, a Canadian family for an evening can “make” a trip to Italy.
Word to the wise…
It is not feasible.
It is not feasible to build up a 900 square meter fully equipped factory, a 300 square meter store and 300 square meters offices, in such a short time and with little money.
Why everyone I meet I always say: it is not possible to do this, it is not possible to achieve that. I have enough! I do not believe anymore.
A famous ad said “Impossible is nothing”. For sure, the will and determination help to overcome such “dream destroyers ” that each day we meet on our way.
