class=\"fusion-text\"><p>Directions:<\/p>\n<p>Soak the white fava beans in cold water for about 4 hours\u00a0.\u00a0After soaking, drain them well and rinse with running water.<\/p>\n<p>In a pan, put an half sliced onion coarsely, the leaves of parsley washed and the soaked fava beans.\u00a0Cover everything with water and cook over low heat until they simmer, adding boiling water when they tend to dry out too much.
